Storybook "Animal Land" Dolls
Different variations to the Wanda Walker doll that were made between 1953-1956. Extremely rare! Animal Land variations available were:
Benny Bear, Walking Wabbit, Kitty Kat, Toby Tiger and Percy Panda and also Davy Crocket
Most of the Vinyl headed dolls were produced in 1956, with the exception of Walking Wabbit in 1953-54

This doll is a vinyl head "Benny Bear" from the Storybook Collective Dolls. All made around 1956 from Advance Doll and Toy Co. One of six in this collection
Also from Animal Land Storybook Dolls was this 1953-54 Wanda Wabbit or Walking Wabbit as it states on some forms. This version came out just in time for Easter in 1953 and again in 1954, and had an inverted box lid for displaying on the stores shelves. She had a Yellow as well as a Purple rabbit suit available and with the attached certificate, clothes could be purchased for an additional amount. She was part of the Storybook Series from around 1955-56 but had a hard plastic head.
This doll is a vinyl head "Davy Crocket" from Advance Doll. He is a true boy doll. Made around 1956, when most of their vinyl head dolls were produced. Even though not an animal headed walker, The Sixth addition to the Animal Storybook Characters.
